Akhaltsikhe is a small town, but with a huge castle. It's, like most architectural things that happened in the 2000s in the country, very controversial. It was completely repaired, renovated or rebuilt, depending on who you ask, and while I loved being able to get a real feel for how a castle would have actually felt, instead of imagining it from ruins, I can see why some people think it's disrespectful to the heritage and history.
